Traditional X-ray diffraction (XRD) data analysis still relies heavily on experts, creating efficiency bottlenecks that are hard to match with high-throughput experiments and the rapid growth of Self-Driving Labs. iPowder is software built specifically for intelligent XRD data analysis.
iPowder is designed around automation and intelligence, covering the full analysis chain—from multi-format data import and smart background subtraction to efficient phase retrieval and automated Rietveld refinement. Its AI-Ready open architecture provides standard APIs for LLM-driven parsing systems. When used with D7/D9 diffractometers from Anhui Guoke Instrument Technology Co., Ltd. (https://gkinst.com/), iPowder connects data acquisition to result delivery in a closed loop with minimal manual intervention, making it a core hub for real-time XRD processing in autonomous labs.
The version available here is the iPowder Basic (academic free) edition. It does not include natural-language chat, but its automation still exceeds many alternatives.
